This curriculum was designed by the Chicago-based Coalition of Limited English Speaking Elderly (CLESE) for elderly learners in community ESL classes. The curriculum is 16 units of complete lesson plans and are available for free download. Units cover topics such as the weather and clothing, foods, people and places, and civics and community. This can be a great add-on resource or beginners’ class curriculum for adults of any age, and includes teaching some study skills which is great for adults with limited formal education experience.
