How Volunteering Works Here

Often we do not assign people to rigid job titles. We believe people do their best work when it matches their gifts and their season of life. But flexibility without clarity leaves everyone guessing, so we describe volunteer service along two dimensions: how long you are serving, and the scope of your role.

Scope of Your Role

Contributor

Focuses on execution with clearly defined tasks and structured handoffs. Perfect for volunteers looking for high impact within a specific, manageable timeframe.

Typical Projects:

Project Lead

Owns initiatives end-to-end. Responsible for setting direction, coordinating with contributors, managing timelines, and ensuring the program achieves its milestones.

Advisor

Offers vital strategic input, high-level advocacy, and specialized expertise without the commitment of day-to-day operational or project management ownership.
