New resource gives English learners more opportunities to practice between classes
TESOL Ministry is piloting Learn More English, a new online resource designed to help students practice English between classes. The platform is now available for teachers and English programs to begin using as TESOL Ministry gathers feedback and continues refining the experience ahead of a broader launch after the semester.
Learn More English gives students opportunities to review vocabulary, practice reading, listen to English, and strengthen communication skills outside the classroom. Students who miss a class can also use assigned lessons to catch up and stay connected to their learning.
The goal is simple: give students more opportunities to practice while giving teachers more time in class for communication, interaction, and relationship-building.
Teachers and programs are invited to use Learn More English during this semester and share their feedback. Their experience will help TESOL Ministry identify what works well, what needs improvement, and what additional features would be most valuable.
TESOL Ministry will also soon be connecting with ESL publishers and content creators interested in making quality English-learning materials available through the platform.
Learn More English is part of TESOL Ministry’s mission to empower all levels of teachers to deliver top-tier English education anywhere in the world. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, TESOL Ministry is developing the resource with the goal of making effective English practice more accessible to teachers and learners around the world.
