Our theme for CELT Virtual 2026 is “Salt and Light through ELT.” In Matthew 5:13-14, Jesus describes believers as “ the salt of the earth” and “the light of the world.” Out of the commandments given directly to the Church by Jesus, this is a direct call to action just for us! In the same vein we had told our presenters (and you’re going to love them!), as the world continues to grow cold in its compassion for others and zeal for truth and goodness wanes, we are commanded in the holy scriptures to “ Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).
