 n\nDescription: Vocabulary is everyone’s favorite reading component! A
 nd helping students master reading vocabulary is a key to helping them m
 aster comprehension.\n\nBut how many words should you teach? And which w
 ords are the most important? What strategies are best for helping studen
 ts learn new words? How do you get students to make new words part of th
 eir receptive and productive vocabularies? This webinar will focus on th
 e theory and best practice behind choosing\, teaching and reviewing read
 ing vocabulary. You’ll get a chance to learn about (and practice) a va
 riety of activities that can be done remotely or in person. Links to gre
 at online resources will also be provided.\n\nThis workshop will be most
  useful for instructors working with low-intermediate to advanced reader
 s.\n\nPlease note that you may be asked to participate in discussion gro
 ups during the webinar. Please plan to join us from a quiet setting wher
 e you can see the PowerPoint slides and use your audio.\n\nCEUs will be 
 emailed to participants after the webinar\, typically within 1-2 busines
 s days. Please note that if you miss more than 15 minutes of the session
 \, we are unable to issue you CEUs or count your attendance towards a ce
